Beginner Wildlife Photography

Over the last few years this has become an increasingly popular course. As with all my courses it is designed for each individual photographer. Being a wildlife photographer for close to thirty years I am well aware that there are different forms of wildlife photography, some much more taxing than others. Please don’t worry, if you want to have a go at wildlife photography but think I will have you crawling through the undergrowth, then you can be assured these days are tailored to how you want to shoot. You can learn just as much sitting in a hide ten metres away from the nature reserve car park as you can from a three mile wildlife stalking session (although these can also be arranged!) Again we decide this before the day and my aim is to have you shooting wildlife, getting results but in the format that best suits how you want to shoot going forward. SPRING/SUMMER LOCATIONS - Red Grouse/Golden Plover/Curlew --- Peak District - Waders/Wildfowl --- Norfolk - Seabirds --- Bempton Cliffs - Dippers --- Peak District - Brown Hares --- Norfolk AUTUMN/WINTER LOCATIONS - Grey/Common Seals --- Norfolk - Red Deer --- Peak District or Leicestershire - Mountain Hares --- Peak District - Marsh Harrier/Waders/Fieldfare/Redwing/Barn Owl --- East Yorkshire - Waders/Geese --- Norfolk Equipment Notice: You will need a Camera (DSLR or Mirrorless) with capability for interchangeable lenses. You will also need a Lens, at least 300mm, preferably 400mm or above, zoom or prime. If unsure about any of this please get in contact, if there is an issue, I'm sure we can find a solution. Note: Pricing options are for a 1-to-1 Course or a 2-Person Course, the price for the 2-person course is per person. If you are a group larger than this please enquire using the contact form or book into a Workshop event. Don't forget that if you book on to any 1-to-1 course and you find that after the day is finished you need to refresh some of the information we covered you can book a further day within three months of the original 1-to-1 at half the cost of the original course. (for example if you booked onto a Landscape 1-to-1 at a cost of £270, you can book onto a further Landscape 1-to-1 within three months at a cost of £135)
