Macro Photography - Taster Session

Service Description

The world of macro photography is fascinating and with a macro lens is one of the most accessible forms of nature photography. I set up this taster session so that clients can see what is involved to craft those stunning macro images but often with less outlay than buying a dedicated macro lens (although this is ideal) but by using other more affordable methods. If you want to see if macro photography is for you this session is ideal. Subjects We Cover: Setting up the camera and lens Shutter speed, Aperture and ISO Depth of field (how to use it for artistic purposes) Light and artificial light Composition Colour How I Work: After years of photography teaching I understand that we all learn differently and progress at different speeds. This is why the session is customized before the day to each individual client. There will be no set itinerary to work through as for me I am much happier and so is the client if they have grasped fewer concepts but 'get them' rather than leaving confused without taking anything in.
