Wildlife Photography - Taster Session

Have you always wanted to take stunning images of wild animals and birds but just don’t know where to start? Or maybe you would like to give wildlife photography a try to see if you are ready to go all in with this fascinating hobby? The wildlife photography taster session is an ideal and cost effective way to help you make the decision if wildlife photography is for you. In this session we will de-mystify wildlife photography, get you up and running with your camera and the settings you need to use as well as looking at animal behaviour and how it greatly impacts your success rate and the quality of your images. It also provides a gateway to the more advanced courses I provide down the line. Subjects We Cover: Setting up your camera and lens Camera setting for different subjects Getting the correct exposure Light matters Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO (what they all mean and how they work together) Understand animal and bird behaviour (and how we use this) How I Work: After years of photography teaching I understand that we all learn differently and progress at different speeds. This is why the session is customized before the day to each individual client. There will be no set itinerary to work through as for me I am much happier and so is the client if they have grasped fewer concepts but 'get them' rather than leaving confused without taking anything in.
